Company Secretary

Ms. Shanza Baig has assumed the charge of Company Secretary since 12 August 2024.

Ms. Baig is a seasoned legal and policy professional with substantially diverse experience across both public and private sector organizations. She has held several senior leadership positions and has built a distinguished career in legal affairs, commercial negotiations, and regulatory compliance. Throughout her career, Ms. Baig has served in key roles, including as Head of Legal and Commercial at Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Chief Legal Officer at the National Transmission and Dispatch Company (NTDC). She has also held leadership positions with prominent organizations such as MOL Pakistan (a subsidiary of the MOL Group), Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (a subsidiary of the ADNOC Group), and Energas Terminal (Pvt.) Limited. Her broad legal expertise, combined with extensive cross-sectoral experience, makes her well-suited for the role of Company Secretary. She brings deep insight into corporate governance and is well-equipped to support the Board in fulfilling its responsibilities.

Ms. Baig holds a Master’s degree in International Law from Germany and a Master’s degree in Political Science from Pakistan. She is a member of various Bar Associations and the Association of International Energy Negotiators (AIEN), formerly known as AIPN. She is also a Certified Director from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance (PICG) and a published author in international oil and gas journals.
